Heart Sprung

Just a short entry before I catch the Chinese Series "Daddy @ Home"!

Dearest is coming home in less than an hour's time. Unfortunately for today, he is booking out later than usual, or else, I would have meet him at Pasir Ris and accompanied him home!

Don't matter, cause I will still get to have him all to myself tomorrow! Yeah! Seriously, cannot wait for that!

My Saturdays are now always reserved to spend time with him, especially since I can only meet him once a week.

Have a good weekend! :)

THE GRASS IS BLACK

Ever since one of my colleague left the company, I was the one who took over her jobscope and many others began to take their leave too.

She has been there for almost 3 years and she was the lady that I first recognised when I stepped into the office for an interview. I remembered that I smiled to her when I was leaving the office after my dreadful interview. Life is crazy. More often than not, we ran into each other on the bus to work and back from work as she lives at Teban which is not that far off from my place.

Another colleague left shortly after that. She was the one who convinced me to join the company when I first received the phonecall from her. I was really doubtful initially but she advised me that we need to be brave to gain life and working experience and that is something that school can never educate us on. She was with the company for 7 years and she holds the record for that. I will never attempt to break that though. Such a generous person and a lady that I looked up to so much.

I lost another colleague abruptly. She gave only a 24hour notice. I suspected as much that she will leave soon as her 2 "kakis" have left but I did not expect it to be so sudden. A bubbly and crazy personality, I will miss her laughter and dirty jokes. I hoped that her wedding next year will be blissful and she will remain happy as always.

I'm losing my enthusiasm and spirit as more of my colleagues leave the company and it is sad to see things becoming into such a state.

I do not expect things to be fantastic (Hey, this is reality!), but please Ya Allah, make things tolerable and acceptable to Human.

I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday!

One Love

Move away Sunshine! It's time for Mr Rain to pour his heart out till January! I love the cooling weather now.

This Thursday marks a month that Dearest has served the nation. How time flies - which is GOOD! Having him only on Friday & Saturday evening of the week is hard but I appreciate the time we get to spend together and your nightly phone call so very much!

If you do your Math, we only get to meet each other less than 8 times in a month? Wow!

Aww.. I love him so much lah! (Hugs & Kisses)

Dearest is loving the new Botak hairstyle as it saves him the fuss of combing and styling. I hate the hairstyle and you cannot keep that hairstyle after NS alright baby. No ifs, no buts.

Happy Tuesday! Friday evening come quick please! :)

LIFE-BLOCKED

It bugged me so much that I can never rise up to the wants.
The cup seemed to be half-empty-half-full no matter how much I pour in or tilt out.

Trying is hard. Living through it is harder.
Agreeing is one. Fulfilling it is another.

Just not the kind that I expect especially coming from you.

Today is not the best Monday ever.

Dear Life...

It has become a routine clocked in my body and mind to patiently count down to the weekend for his return.

Last Friday was crazy and it was another Friday the 13th! Haha! I was still in the office at 6pm when I had planned to meet him at Pasir Ris MRT at 7pm. I hate the start and the end of the work-week! Bleargh! :(

Anyways, with an umbrella in my hand and my bag in the other, I hurriedly walked about 15 mins to City Hall MRT, ignoring the accidental splashes I made and how wet the bottom of my jeans and inside my shoes were. I only knew I had to get to City Hall, fast!

Upon reaching Pasir Ris, all the boys looked the same, with the green caps, green uniforms and their big green haversacks! Despite that, I still managed to spot Dearest among the green crowd! :)

Had light dinner @ MCD Tiong Bahru, took a bus down to Queenstown and then bid goodnight to recharge ourselves for Saturday! :)

Yesterday was our Movie Date @ LIDO! This time it was his turn to choose a movie and it was 2012! Tickets seemed to be selling out fast and long queues were formed everywhere! Fortunately, he had booked it online which saved us all the hassles and worries! The convenience of the world wide web.

Our tummy had performed the orchestra as we were totally famished and all that we could think of was F-O-O-D! Throughout the journey to Orchard in the MRT, we were planning on what to eat and order when we reached Sakura. Obviously I gotta have my Tom Yam and he gotta have his Salad You Tiao and Wantan!

He gave me this Army Notebook and I loved the comic strips in it!

The movie was 2 1/2 hours long and it was really scary to see that happening to our beloved Earth. Dearest wasn't happy with the movie at all as he insisted that if that was really an apocalypse, all of us would cease to exist and no one could survive. Even if we did survive, we lacked the natural resources to make through life. I had to stress to him that it was just a MOVIE and we are gonna watch ANIMATED or CARTOON or FICTION movies from now on!

You looked mischievous and cheeky in this pic Dearest! =P

He had to run some errands for his family and so we took an MRT down to VIVO GIANT (he has vouchers, hence all the way to Vivo) to get the items. He also bought my favourite biscuits and 2 that is, for me! :)
He just couldn't decide to get which type of mouth-wash!
Sat at our fave spot at the Rooftop Garden while munching on some chicken wings and whipped potato was a great combination to people watching!
The Christmas decorations are already up at Orchard and everywhere else! Though I do not celebrate Chrismas, I just feel happy to be able to enjoy the gorgeous decors!

X'mas Tree @ Vivo
Dearest is booking in today. Sadness grieved all over me. Here we go again cupcake!
I love you so much Syg!

Burning through my darkest night,
You're the only one that I want,
Think I'm addicted to your light..."

"When the cold wind blows...
I miss you so...
I wana go home...
To my lover...
Nur Shafiqah..."

I can't really remember the lyrics of the whole song but I remembered only the prominent words. He sang it to me through the phone just now as he missed me and he was also running a bit of a temperature. Kesian my Dearest!

It was one of those army songs that he learnt and I really liked this particular song. The whole anthem and melody of the song are very heartwarming indeed.

I told him to have an early rest so that his temperature would hopefully subside by tomorrow. Get well soon Syg!

I can't wait for Friday evening.

THAT SATURDAY

It may seemed like any other Saturday. The same outdoor, casual moment.

But it's different this time. Maybe it's how we felt. Maybe it's the new way of life that both of us will have to adapt to. We will make it right Dearest? You betcha! =)

Anyways, both of us were out last Saturday, attempting to get our wishlist items - at least for him. I bought things that were not even on my list and only managed to fulfill about 3 items out of the 5 items that I wrote down. What can I say? I'm a girl. Hehe.

First stop was to Chevrons SAF e-mart as Dearest needs to get his army supply. I totally felt out of place there that I decided to just wait outside the mart.

I always wonder what kind of stuffs they sell in there and now I know! Oh so often, I would just walked past and look from the outside!

Next, we bus-ed down to Far East Plaza in search of a suitable handbag/shoes for myself and I ended up buying 3 necklaces and Dearest even chose 1 that he truly liked and insisted that I wore it after paying for the necklace! Bau kedai betol ah! Haha! =P

Yes, yes. It's that white necklace in the picture! Pretty, pretty! =)

Back to the hunt, walked around Taka (nah!) then to Tangs (nah!) then to Lucky Plaza (still nah!) and finally we went to Centrepoint John Little. One bag caught my eye and the plus points was that I got an additional 20% discount on top of the 10% discount that they already offered because I'm an NTUC Member! Gerek kape!

By the time, it was almost 5pm and both of us took a break from all the walking and had our dinner at Suntec Swensens. Dearest was craving for the Chicken Baked Rice and he gotta have it before he booked in on Sunday.

Continued our spree after that and knowing that I have discounts for purchases at John Little, I bought my facial wash, foundation, stockings and mascara from there! Hehe! Serious utilization of the benefits that the card has! =)

There was one particular moment that I can never forget was when I was looking through the stockings section in Marina Square's Watsons. I picked out a box and suddenly 3 boxes of other stockings dropped on me and then to the floor. Goodness! I tried to catch the falling boxes in my panic stricken moment but to no avail. A helping hand came by and asked "Can I help you?" to me.
Still fuzzled by my moment of clumsiness, I bravely turned, then smiled and I was really glad that it was none other than Dearest! =)

Seriously, that was like a scene that I always see in TV shows and that's where the couple became an item. Both of us laughed out of the store sharing the same thoughts! =P

Chilling at Esplanade ended the wonderful day spent together beautifully and now we have another weekend to look forward to.
I love you Dearest. More and more each time I say that 4 letter words.
Good night!
